At its meeting on January 31, 2007, the Management Committee formally established the IAMRA Membership Committee.  The Membership Committee replaces the previous Finance and Development Committee and will operate under a revised charge.

The IAMRA Membership Committee shall:

• Develop and implement strategies to increase and sustain membership in the organization
  
  
• Develop a written "statement of value" associated with organization membership
  
  
• Identify and implement strategies for increasing value associated with membership in the organization
  
  
• Identify strategies to facilitate communication between IAMRA leadership and members and among members
  
  
• Develop strategies that promote increased collaboration between IAMRA members.
