AI Working Group

At the 2025 IAMRA Members’ General Assembly (MGA) in Dublin, the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties put forward a resolution related to artificial intelligence in regulation. This resolution was approved by the membership, and the IAMRA Board subsequently agreed to establish an AI Working Group. The Working Group will develop a position statement and/or policy on AI-related matters relevant to medical regulation.

IAMRA now invites Expressions of Interest (EOI) from members and partners to participate in the newly established AI Working Group (AIWG). Please see the AIWG Charter. which includes a draft meeting schedule. Meeting dates will be finalized subject to the makeup of the membership. 

Please submit your expression of interest and describe your expertise, experience, or strong interest in artificial intelligence, innovation, regulation or related fields by emailing sheermans@iamra.com by February 13, 2026.
